Reports & Investor Updates
Write it once, from the numbers you already have. Then send it as a private link and see who opened it, or export it.
One place for every report you write
Investor updates, board packs and lender packs live under Finance, in Reports. Draft a pack in Pack Studio, edit its sections, finalise it, then send it or export it.

The quarterly update is built by hand, and then vanishes
Two weeks of stitching five files into one document, then an attachment sent to thirty people, each holding a copy of its own.
Assembled from five places at once
The figures already exist. They just live in an export, a sheet, a statement and last quarter's deck, so someone retypes all of them into a document and hopes the numbers still agree by the time it goes out.
After Send, every copy drifts
An attachment is a copy. Once it is out, a correction means another file, and the old one is still in someone's inbox. So the next board meeting opens with "which version did you read?"
The draft starts from your own numbers
Pick the report type, the audience, the tone and the period.FinPera AI drafts the sections from the revenue, margin, burn and cash already recorded in FinPera, and every line it writes carries the exact figure it came from. Then the figures are checked a second time, by rule rather than by trust. You edit it in place; nothing leaves until you finalise it.
- Sourced, line by line - each drafted line shows the figure behind it, so you can check it rather than trust it
- Gaps are named, not filled - a figure the period does not contain is listed as missing, never invented
- Checked a second time - a figure that does not match the recorded number is flagged for a person to fix - it flags, it does not correct
- Three steps, in order - type, audience and period; grounding sources; review and generate
- Your words, in the end - edit each section in place, keep saved versions, then finalise - the draft is a starting point, not a letter that goes out on its own
The same figures write the board pack and the lender pack
Choose the report type and who it is for. The audience and tone change how it is phrased; the underlying facts never change.

Sent to the right people, or out in the format the room expects
Once a pack is finalised, send it to the people who should read it, and see who has opened it. Or export it as a PDF, a PowerPoint deck or a Word document, or save a copy to the Vault.
- Send any finalised pack - an investor update, board pack, lender pack or custom pack goes out as a private read-only link, not an attachment
- You choose who gets it, and for how long - pick from your investors and lenders list, your board, or any address you type in, then review the list and the message before anything is sent. Each link can have an end date, or none
- See who has opened it - each person shows as pending, sent, opened or bounced; send again to one person, extend a link, or switch it off
- A failed send says so - if a send fails, or an address bounces, you are told, with the reason given
- One place - the draft, your packs and who has opened them all sit under Reports
- PDF, PowerPoint and Word - the same finished pack, in the form a board or a lender asks for
- Saved to the Vault - a copy sits with your documents, next to everything else you hold
- Finalise first - what leaves is the version you finalised, not a draft in progress

A link they can open, not a file they have to find
The same pack, seen from the other end. The person you sent it to opens one page and reads it.
A link, not an attachment
A finalised pack goes out as a private read-only link, not an attachment. Nothing is forwarded around as a file, so nothing goes out of date in someone's downloads folder. You choose how long the link lasts, and can extend it or switch it off.
A page they can just read
The link opens a read-only view of the published pack: the title, the period and the sections, with their text, lists and tables. No account to create and nothing to install.
The published version, and nothing else
The link shows the version you published, with the figures behind its charts and its headline table as they stood when you finalised it, as tables. The reader can read it; they cannot change it, and your drafts stay with you.
Stop dreading the quarterly update.
For the founder and the CFO who write it, the board and lenders who read it, and the investors who should not have to ask. Reports sit beside your financials inside FinPera, which is why the pack knows your numbers already.
